Our little Cyrus Gordon turned 1 on May 14th. This year was an absolute blur with him. I thought that Chase's first year went fast but somehow it was faster with Cyrus. I found I savoured much more of Cyrus's first year because I was starting to feel more confident in myself and my Mommy role. We celebrated our wee man down at the Coal Harbour Community Center. The location was absolutely breath taking! Even though it was pouring rain (oh Vancouver weather) we still enjoyed every second of looking out at the marina and Stanley Park.

Cyrus and his buddy Jayden were born 8 days apart. Their Daddy's are best buddies and I'm sure these guys will grow up to be the same. They're definitely wiggly at this age...this was the best picture we got. Ha, oh well there is always next year.

We had a fabulous day! Cyrus you are such a treasure to me. I savour every snuggle and mushy kiss because I know this season is short. You are the happiest little man and often put us into fits of laughter with your outbursts of laughter. You love music and are constantly dancing with Chase. You explore and are interested in everything in your world. My heart is completely full with you in my arms. I love you with everything in me. The day you were born was the day my prayers were answered. When I was pregnant with you God gave me 2 words; peace and joy. I prayed these thing on your life while you were being knit together in my womb. I will continue to pray these things over your life. Daddy & I love you little bean!
